Wills are documents in which a person arranges the distribution of their assets and rights for after their death. There may also be personal content to, for example, protect minor children or a spouse.
In Spain, depending on the applicable legislation, there are forced heirship limitations that restrict the testator's will; the most important, although not the only ones, are in favor of the testator's descendants. The law that determines the existence of said limitations is the one corresponding to the testator (nationality or civil domicile) at the time of death. If you are not of Spanish nationality, it is emphasized the advisability of making a will if you have assets in Spain.
